Pioneer Gathering at Tumben Chankaj
An Invitation
Join us at the Base Camp of Ciudad de Luz 13:20 for the Pioneer Gathering. This is more than a campout — it’s a living experience where we come together to build, grow, and share the vision of a new community.
From this gathering, 3–6 individuals will be invited to apply as core Pioneer Members, the seed circle that will carry Ciudad de Luz 13:20 forward.

Location: Ciudad de Luz 13:20 Base Camp (Tumben Chankaj – Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo)
Most of our time together will be spent helping each other set up our own camp sites — creating a base where everyone can live simply and comfortably. Alongside this, we’ll begin shared initiatives in bioconstruction and permaculture, laying down the first seeds of a regenerative village. We’ll also practice community circle gatherings, where we connect, share, and learn together.
Bioconstruction Workshops: learn and practice natural building techniques.
Permaculture Projects: co-create gardens, water systems, and regenerative landscapes.
Circle Gatherings: share meals, stories, music, and vision.
Hands-On Co-Living: experience simple, off-grid life in the jungle of Quintana Roo.
What You Need to Bring
This gathering is best for those who enjoy the outdoors, dream of going off-grid, and want to practice self-resilience — but who also value being part of a supportive circle instead of doing it all alone. Here, you can explore simple living and self-sufficiency, while knowing that you’re surrounded by community and can always step back into comfort when you need to.
This is a self-reliant gathering — come prepared:
Tent / hammock / camping setup.
Food & water supply for your stay.
Tools (as many as possible: shovels, machetes, hammers, saws, etc.).
Personal essentials (clothing, flashlight, first aid, etc.).
An open heart and willingness to collaborate.
